Aluminum castings refer to structural and functional parts made by melting aluminum alloy ingots at high temperature, pouring liquid metal into customized mold cavities, and cooling for solid shaping. The core manufacturing flow follows fixed mechanical and metallurgical rules.First, qualified aluminum alloy raw materials are melted in industrial furnaces within a temperature range of 720°C to 760°C,with degassing and flux treatment to remove hydrogen and oxide impurities inside the melt.Second, molds are preheated and coated with release agents to avoid metal adhesion and uneven cooling. Then molten aluminum fills the mold cavity through designed gating systems under gravity or controlled pressure. After full solidification, molds are opened to demold rough castings, which then go through trimming, cleaning and surface treatment to remove excess runners and flash. The whole process realizes one-step forming of complex integrated structures that are hard to make via machining alone, supporting both small-batch trial production and mass standardized manufacturing.
